Is your child a sweet toothed little one? Then you must give a try to this recipe to satiate the kiddo's thirst for sweet dishes. Water chestnut is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

1 cup waterchestnut (singhara) flour, ¼ cup mava (khoya), ½ cup sugar, ½ tsp. green cardamom (elaichi) powder, 3 tbsp. ghee, water as required.
1. Grease a tray with some ghee and keep it handy.
2. In a heavy bottomed pan, heat ghee and add water chestnut flour and roast on medium heat until it becomes light brown.
3. Add sugar and 1½ cups water and mix well and keep stirring continuously, add mava and mix well and stir constantly till the mixture forms a lump leaving the sides of the pan.
4. Add cardamom and stir well for 2-3 minutes. Remove from fire and immediately transfer to the greased tray and spread it evenly.
5. When it slight warm, cut into desired shapes and store it in an airtight container.
Offer them to your child to energise him instantly and also savour the sweet taste of it.
