Plain ghee rice is simple and delicious to feed your baby. Basmati Rice is full of aroma and is rich in carbohydrates while ghee gives the required fats to your baby. This rice can be given to your baby at this point and you can cook it more, little mashed up in consistency especially when you are introducing solids to your little one.
Contents
½ cup Basmati rice, 1.5 cups of water, ½ tsp ghee
1. Soak basmati rice for an hour. Drain the water and keep aside.
2. In a pan, add ghee. Once ghee is warm, add the rice and saute for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add 1.5 cups of water and cook the rice till half done.
4. Cover the pan and cook the rice on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Delicious aromatic plain ghee rice is ready for your baby.
